What it is
For those with specific health needs, this massage style focuses on helping to restore your natural balance, strength, and body's harmony. Sandi will chat with you about your specific challenges, body profile, and goals and then customize a massage for you, drawing from a variety of techniques. These include deep tissue, neuromuscular, myofacial release, PRI and reactive muscle correction. She can then provide recommendations for stretches and exercises that you can do on your own at home so that you can continue improving, building on the progress made during the massage session.
How to prepare for your session
- An hour before your massage, ensure you're well hydrated and drink a glass of water if needed.
- If you're able to do so, warm your muscles up before the session by taking a hot bath, soaking in Ouray Hot Springs, or taking a gentle 10-15 minutes stroll.
- After your massage, be sure to avoid alcohol or any sugary drinks and continue to hydrate and flush the body with plenty of water.
